Wounded Warrior Project

Last year I pledged the proceeds from the Amazon.com affiliate links on this page to the Lupus Foundation. For 2015 I am pledging the Amazon.com proceeds from this page to the Wounded Warrior Project.

The Wounded Warrior Project has a tri-fold mission:

To raise awareness and enlist the public's aid for the needs of injured service members.

To help injured service members aid and assist each other.

To provide unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of injured service members.

I hope I can generate some funds for this great non-profit service provider. The work they do is helpful to so many soldiers in need.

My name is Brian Pearcy and I fish for common carp.

If you are like most of the people in my family, close friends and a few co-workers I have told about my carp fishing exploits; you might not be familiar with fishing for carp. You might be familiar with or previously fished for bluegill, crappie, bass, catfish, walleye, or some salt water species; but unless you already fish for carp you may not realize their true potential as a sport fish.

Please keep an open mind while reading my carp fishing blog. I’ll do my best to convince you that the common carp are getting a bad rap sometimes. Hopefully I'll convince you that fishing for carp is a great idea.

I plan to post my carp fishing pictures, highlights from various fishing venues I visit, results, equipment reviews, observations, and anything else I think might be interesting about carp fishing.
