Fishing Log

In 2014 I plan to do a better job of tracking my fishing results. I am sure I could purchase something online to do that job in a fancy way, but today I have been playing around with Excel and created the log below for free:

If anyone reading this has suggestions for improving the fishing log, I'm all ears.

My name is Brian Pearcy and I fish for common carp.

If you are like most of the people in my family, close friends and a few co-workers I have told about my carp fishing exploits; you might not be familiar with fishing for carp. You might be familiar with or previously fished for bluegill, crappie, bass, catfish, walleye, or some salt water species; but unless you already fish for carp you may not realize their true potential as a sport fish.

Please keep an open mind while reading my carp fishing blog. I’ll do my best to convince you that the common carp are getting a bad rap sometimes. Hopefully I'll convince you that fishing for carp is a great idea.

I plan to post my carp fishing pictures, highlights from various fishing venues I visit, results, equipment reviews, observations, and anything else I think might be interesting about carp fishing.
