Fall Carp Fishing Detroit River

I had a vacation day and realized that the photos have not been posted here.

I had a vacation day and spent the morning fishing at the Detroit River. I ended at 10 fish with the largest weighing 28 lbs 8 oz.

Fall is a great time of year to catch carp on the Detroit River and the weather this day was fantastic.

My name is Brian Pearcy and I fish for common carp.

If you are like most of the people in my family, close friends and a few co-workers I have told about my carp fishing exploits; you might not be familiar with fishing for carp. You might be familiar with or previously fished for bluegill, crappie, bass, catfish, walleye, or some salt water species; but unless you already fish for carp you may not realize their true potential as a sport fish.
